Tina grew up on the East Coast and graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with her Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. Tina obtained her Certificate in Dental Assisting and worked chairside for six years before deciding to go to MUN to further her education.
After moving to Halifax, Tina taught Dental Office Administration at the Maritime Business College and went on to manage a dental clinic there before moving to Ottawa in 2008. With her husband, dog, and two cats in tow, Tina has managed dental clinics here in Ottawa ever since. Tina continues to attend courses related to dental management.
Missing grandchildren and family, Tina travels back to the East Coast whenever possible. In her spare time, Tina can be found renovating her house, gardening, or painting flowers and landscapes.
Melissa grew up in sunny Mexico City! She moved to Canada in 1992, and Kanata in 2008. Melissa graduated with a certificate in Medical Administration in 2004 from Everest College and in 2010 she obtained a certificate of Translation from Toronto University. She has been working in the dental field for 9 years now.
Melissa is a proud mom to 3 boys (men) and in her spare time, she can be found working out, gardening, sewing, and painting. She also has 3 grandbabies and a 4th on the way who she adores more than anything.
Karen grew up in Cornwall, Ontario. She moved to Ottawa in 1997 to pursue a career in the dental field and graduated as a Dental Assistant from Career Canada College in 1998. She has been working in the dental field for over 20 years including 7 of those years in our office as an Admin Assistant.
Karen calls Stittsville her home where she lives with her husband and 2 boys. When not in the office Karen enjoys walking the Trans Canada Trail and spending time with her family and friends.
Judy, originally from the East Coast, moved to Windsor, ON in 2005 along with her husband. It was there she graduated from St. Clair College in 2008, as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant.
Military life brought them to Wasaga Beach for nearly 10 years, until a relocation brought them to Ottawa in 2018, where Judy joined the Palladium Dental team. She is proud of her role working chairside, and strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.
Judy is an avid baseball fan. In her spare time, she also enjoys knitting, baking, walking the trails with her dog Apollo and of course being a devoted hockey mom to her teenage son.
Tizita, better known as Ti, grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She obtained a certificate in Front Office Management in Ethiopia before moving to Canada in 2012. She then continued her education and graduated with a certificate as a Level II Dental Assistant from Trillium College in 2015.
Ti is a strong, independent woman who moved to Canada with her 2 sons. When not busy on the soccer field with her one son who plays competitively, Ti enjoys hiking, long walks, listening to music, and cooking.
Jennifer grew up in St. Alban's Newfoundland and Labrador. She graduated with a certificate as a Level II Dental Assistant in 2009 from Keyin College in St. John's, Newfoundland. From
there she decided to further her education and moved to Ottawa where she graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Canadian National Institute of Health in 2012 and has
been working in our office ever since.
Continuing to call Ottawa home, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband Steven, and
their group of friends. She also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as; hiking, cross-country skiing in the winter, and spending time at her family cottage in the summer.
Growing up in Kanata, Amanda loves feeling at home and seeing familiar faces day to day. She attended the Canadian National Institute of Health where she graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She has spent her years working in both general and pediatric practices. Amanda has an ability to really connect and understand people to achieve optimal patient comfort and individualized patient care. Her passion for the dental profession really shines in her daily practice.
Continuing to call Kanata her home, she is a proud mom to her 2 beautiful children, Wyatt and Tenley. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends as they truly are her world. She also enjoys weight classes at the gym and running as health and fitness is an important part of her lifestyle.
Andrea grew up west of Toronto in Oakville, Ontario. She attended Canadore College in NorthBay, Ontario where she graduated with a certificate as a Level II Dental Assistant in 2006. Andrea then attended Algonquin College here in Ottawa where she graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2010. After working for a few years back in the Toronto area, she decided she wanted to make Ottawa her home and moved back to our lovely city in 2012. Andrea is also a DONA-trained Douala and has a passion for working with lip and tongue-tied babies. She has been working as a clinical instructor at Algonquin College since 2018, where she continues to teach.
When not at work, Andrea loves spending time at her home here in Kanata with her partner and their daughter Adeline. Together they like to explore Ottawa and see what our great city has to offer.
Richele grew up in Napanee, Ontario. In 2006 she made her way to Ottawa to attend Algonquin College, where she graduated with a certificate as a Level II Dental Assistant in 2007. From there she continued her education at Algonquin College, graduating with a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2010.
Richele has spent her years as a dental hygienist working in both general and orthodontic practices.
Residing in the Ottawa Valley with her husband and son, Richele loves spending time with her family and reading in her spare time.
Kyra grew up on the outskirts of Ottawa in Munster Hamlet. She moved to Kanata with her family in 2013. After starting her career in aesthetics she realized healthcare is where her heart was and enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at Algonquin College. She graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2022.
Kyra and her partner now call Stittsville home, where they live with their 2 daughters Arielle and Jasmine. In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks with her family, going to the gym, and reading a good book.
